Abstract

This study aims (i) To find out whether the use of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model can increase student activity in logarithmic material; (ii) To find out whether the Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) can improve student learning outcomes in logarithmic material. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted at Sindang 1 Academic Year High School. Data collection techniques used include observation and test techniques, the subjects in this study were the students of class X-6 Mathematics and Natural Sciences, totaling 36 students. (i) The results of the data processing of the activeness data obtained have increased in each cycle with an average cycle of 38.89%, cycle II 72.22%, and cycle III 91.67%. (ii) The results of completeness processing learning outcomes logarithm material has increased in each cycle with an average cycle I 41.67%, cycle II 69.44% and cycle III 80.56%.
